Good Buy to Hunger Food Drive

In total, $60,522.00* of in-kind food was donated to six local food banks! Incredible!

This past holiday season you helped spread joy, and made sure no one went hungry.

From November 27th to December 10th, members and customers made a difference by purchasing a $10 Good Buy to Hunger food hamper at participating Red River Co-op locations.

Those contributions went directly toward supporting local food banks, ensuring families in our communities had access to nutritious meals during the holiday season.

All monetary donations were used to provide in-kind food donations to Harvest Manitoba and our partner community food banks, based on where the donations were made:

• Winnipeg food stores and gas bars – Harvest Manitoba
• Oakbank gas bar – Harvest Manitoba
• Niverville gas bar – Niverville Helping Hands
  
• Gimli Food Store – Evergreen Basic Needs
• Stonewall and Teulon gas bars– Interlake Food Bank
• Selkirk food store and gas bar– Selkirk Food Bank
• Lorette food store – Taché Food Resource Centre

Donations could also be made at participating Red River Co-op gas bar locations, and customers were welcome to give any amount they felt comfortable with, every contribution helped make a difference.

Please note: This promotion excluded our Ontario gas bar locations, as well as the Gimli and Ste. Agathe gas bars.
