What Can Pharmacists Prescribe?

Eligible contraceptives pharmacists may prescribe:

• Oral contraceptives (birth control pills)
• Transdermal contraceptive patches
• Vaginal contraceptive rings
• Intramuscular contraceptive injections

Not included in this service:

• IUDs
• Hormonal implants

During your assessment, your pharmacist may discuss:
